Guest Access
Driveway parking (1 space) by the main entry and upper lot parking (2 spots) are both large enough to accommodate trucks and SUVs, but the upper lot's gravel driveway and parking spaces are tight. Ingress and egress require some care. Ask the owner about a free residential street parking pass if you are uncomfortable with the idea of upper lot parking and/or need more space for a large vehicle or a trailer. Guests have exclusive access to the entire main house, back porch (up to the high fence), front porch, and grounds between the upper entry and the circular gravel drive. Entry is designed for your convenience, with a flat, stair-free path from the front concrete driveway parking space directly to the front door. Home entry from the gravel upper parking drive and lot area is easy, with just three steps up to the covered entryway. There is a King Bedroom on the first floor with a shower, a shared first-floor bathroom, and a half-step up entry from the back patio (flafstone and pavers). There are three Bedrooms upstairs, one en suite with a shower stall, one en suite with a full bathtub/shower combo, and one with a shared full bath/shower combo and a skylight.

Manitou Springs, CO, United States
Walking remains the easiest and healthiest form of transport in the town, and most of what one needs is readily accessible by foot. A free shuttle operates on a 20-minute cycle for in-town transport from Memorial Day through Labor Day, and will take one to and from Eastern Manitou Springs and the Cog Railway, the Manitou Incline and Barr Trail Head on Ruxton Avenue in Southwestern Manitou. Rickshaw and e-bike options are also available. Manitou Springs no longer hosts the trolley that long ago took people from Colorado Springs and neighboring Old Colorado City to and from Manitou, but one can take the same journey using the #3 bus which features stops in several locations along Manitou Avenue. You can also jump on a City Bus in town and take it through Old Colorado City to downtown Colorado Springs and beyond.
